Company Nurse – Occupational Health

About the role

The Company Nurse will provide occupational health services to employees of Lapanday Foods Corporation, supporting emergency care, health programs, and medical record management across our Mindanao operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist department heads in transporting patients requiring emergency referral to hospitals.
• Coordinate annual pre-employment (P.E.) examinations and forward any positive findings to the company physician.
• Facilitate employee participation in health initiatives such as annual P.E., cholinesterase testing, biochemical tests, mass blood‑letting, and community medical‑dental missions.
• Collect and monitor blood samples for cholinesterase tests for organophosphate and carbamate handlers.
• Maintain confidential medical records and ensure strict privacy of employee health information.
• Process medicine withdrawals, inventory reports, and prepare the medical section’s annual budget assumptions.
• Support occupational health programs, including safety committee activities related to health hazards.
• Coordinate with internal departments, community agencies, NGOs, and government offices for health promotion and protection.
• Manage office and medical supplies, ensure proper sterilization of clinic instruments, and prepare clinic consumables.
• Generate periodic accomplishment reports, process hospital and laboratory bills, and issue guaranty letters for admissions.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Computer literate with good administrative abilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
