Community & Marketing Manager (OSRS) – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

The Community & Marketing Manager will be the public face of Hefty OSRS, an app that rewards and engages the Old School RuneScape community. Working remotely, you will own the community, drive growth, and build authentic relationships across Discord, Reddit, X and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the voice of Hefty OSRS and represent the brand publicly.
• Build, manage and grow the Discord community.
• Create and publish engaging content on Reddit, X and other relevant platforms.
• Participate genuinely in OSRS conversations, not just promotional posts.
• Plan and execute promotions, competitions, giveaways, campaigns and community events.
• Introduce new players to the app and clearly explain its features.
• Respond to user questions, feedback and support enquiries.
• Identify common issues and collaborate with the product team to improve user experience.
• Gather community insights, report on player sentiment and emerging trends.
• Monitor OSRS updates, creators and community developments.
• Build relationships with OSRS creators, community leaders and potential partners.
• Support app launches, new features and product announcements.
• Track community growth, engagement, campaign performance and user feedback.
• Ensure all activities respect platform and game rules.

Required profile

• Strong, current knowledge of Old School RuneScape, its terminology, culture and community.
• Genuine experience playing OSRS.
• Experience managing an online community, preferably in gaming.
• Excellent written communication and ability to adapt tone for different platforms.
• Confidence engaging publicly with players, including handling criticism.
• Creative and proactive approach to campaigns and community‑building.
