Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Communications Manager to lead strategic communications for Vena Energy in the Philippines, focusing on renewable energy market leadership. The role will shape external and internal messaging, support permit acquisition, and position the company as a sustainability innovator.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive communications strategies aligned with business milestones, regulatory goals and project progress.
• Advise business partners on market‑specific communications to build and sustain Vena Energy’s reputation.
• Design and execute high‑impact PR campaigns, manage events, vendors, logistics and budgets.
• Lead content creation for press releases, presentations and digital platforms, and act as spokesperson when needed.
• Drive internal communications, employee engagement initiatives and employer branding to attract and retain talent.
• Ensure brand guideline adherence, act as gatekeeper for external information, and manage agency relationships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, regional and global teams to align communications with organizational goals.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of experience in public relations, either in‑house, agency or media environments.
• Proven ability to craft and execute communication strategies that support corporate objectives and brand positioning.
• Strong capability to handle high‑pressure situations, complex media inquiries and reputational risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in building relationships with media, regulators, industry associations and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Good MS Office proficiency and strong coordination abilities.
