Commis 3 – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Commis 3 supports daily kitchen operations in a hospitality environment, ensuring food production meets the standards set by the Chef De Partie and the overall Food & Beverage vision of Melco Resorts Leisure. This role is essential for maintaining smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef De Partie and Commis 1 in preparing and presenting dishes according to standard recipes.
• Maintain clear communication with all kitchen staff and internal departments.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and licensing procedures at all times.
• Monitor kitchen equipment, report defects, and ensure proper maintenance.
• Control food breakage, spoilage, and cost items while adhering to portion standards.
• Sanitize equipment, store food safely, and uphold food integrity.
• Participate in meetings and share feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; on‑the‑job hospitality training completed.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work indoors and adapt to various kitchen conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with the SWS system.
