Commercial Manager – LNG Terminal Operations

About the role

We operate an LNG import terminal in the Philippines for a major client and are expanding our commercial footprint. The Commercial Manager will be the day‑to‑day liaison between the client, the terminal, and our regional commercial team, ensuring the O&M contract runs smoothly while identifying new commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial interface for the LNG Philippines account, maintaining client confidence and satisfaction.
• Own terminal agreements and O&M commercial terms, tracking obligations, throughput, invoicing, change orders, and milestones.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, finance, and supply‑chain teams to meet commercial commitments and flag issues early.
• Maintain commercial models and trackers (revenue, costs, KPIs) and prepare clear reports for management and the client.
• Support contract renewals, amendments, and new commercial opportunities, including drafting and negotiation preparation.
• Monitor local market regulation, demand, competitors, and downstream gas trends to highlight risks and opportunities.
• Help build the commercial footprint in the Philippines, eventually taking on origination and deal responsibility.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of LNG downstream experience in commercial, business development, or contract management.
• Degree in business, finance, engineering, economics or related field; finance, accounting or energy qualifications a plus.
• Strong commercial and financial literacy – able to build/read models, understand P&L statements and explain deal economics.
• Willingness to relocate to the Philippines or already based there; right to work in‑country required.
• Curiosity and drive to grow into broader commercial and deal‑making responsibilities.
