Commercial Director – Drive Growth & Innovation in Healthcare

About the role

Singapore Diagnostics is looking for a visionary Commercial Director to steer its sales, business development, marketing and partnership activities. Reporting to the CEO and COO, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for accelerating growth and shaping the company’s strategic direction in the healthcare and diagnostics market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial growth strategy aligned with the company’s long‑term vision.
• Identify new market opportunities, service innovations and strategic alliances.
• Drive revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, retention and market‑share expansion.
• Build and nurture partnerships with hospitals, clinics, physicians, HMOs, corporate clients and government bodies.
• Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Key Account Management teams.
• Leverage market intelligence and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Champion customer‑centric initiatives that improve client experience and loyalty.
• Support digital transformation, automation and process‑improvement projects to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial, sales, business development or marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and building high‑performing teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical laboratory, hospital or pharmaceutical sectors is strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
• MBA or other advanced business qualification is an advantage.
