Commercial Analyst

About the role

Cloudstaff is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join its retail finance team in Angeles, Philippines. You will work on‑site, collaborating with Commercial Managers and Operations to drive profitability across all stores and brands.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse weekly and monthly trading performance for all company stores.
• Provide insights on sales growth, labour productivity, gross margin, occupancy costs and operating expenses.
• Identify risks, opportunities and variances against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Support profitability improvement initiatives and conduct detailed store‑level analysis.
• Deliver recommendations to enhance store profitability, labour efficiency and cost management.
• Produce ad‑hoc commercial reports and perform other related tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Experience in commercial finance, retail finance, management accounting or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and store profitability drivers.
• High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., F1, MMX, Concur or similar).
