Collections Manager – B2B Collections

About the role

The Collections Manager will lead a B2B collections team to achieve cash‑flow targets, reduce invoice aging, and maintain high standards of customer experience and process compliance. The role requires flexibility to work US shifts and support global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day collections operations and monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Drive portfolio reviews, aging‑reduction initiatives, and overall collection effectiveness.
• Oversee workflow to ensure timely completion of collection activities and customer follow‑ups.
• Conduct coaching, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and on‑the‑job training; manage performance reviews and capability development.
• Handle customer escalations and coordinate with Billing, Disputes, Sales, and Cash Application teams.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Support governance reviews, reporting, and stakeholder management.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and operational controls.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or order‑to‑cash processes.
• Proven people‑management, analytical, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience supporting US customers and managing teams in a global delivery environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with collections systems and ERP platforms such as NetSuite or SAP.
• Familiarity with AR tools and related financial software.
