CloudOps Engineer

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a CloudOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimise secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. You will work remotely, collaborating with DevOps, engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise cloud environments across AWS and Azure, focusing on security, scalability and availability.
• Manage Windows Server and Active Directory services in cloud and hybrid settings.
• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using AWS CDK, Terraform, Python and PowerShell.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Octopus Deploy and Azure DevOps, maintaining compliance and security standards.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and incident management using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
• Enforce cloud security best practices, conduct audits and ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering or SRE.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (preferred) and Azure.
• Proven experience managing Windows Server and Active Directory.
