Cloud Engineer – Design & Manage Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

The Cloud Engineer will lead the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of our cloud environment, ensuring it aligns with DevOps practices and supports rapid, reliable delivery of applications. This role is central to driving cloud adoption, optimizing performance, and fostering continuous innovation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions, selecting appropriate services to meet business requirements.
• Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources following best‑practice guidelines for high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimize cloud cost structures, recommending cost‑saving measures and budget controls.
• Lead migration projects from on‑premises or other cloud platforms, overseeing data transfer, testing and validation.
• Implement security controls, encryption, access management and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for cloud‑based systems.
• Collaborate with developers and cross‑functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with hybrid environments and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cloud environments and supporting DevOps initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, scalability, reliability and cost optimization.
• Experience leading cloud migration efforts and ensuring minimal downtime.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud settings.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
