Climate Resilience Manager

About the role

The Climate Resilience Manager will join C40’s Regions and Mayoral Engagement department to support city leaders in building climate‑resilient, equitable communities across East, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Reporting to the Head of Implementation, the role combines data‑driven analysis, policy exchange and partnership development to accelerate climate action at the municipal level.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, curate and promote proven climate‑resilience programmes and policies from C40 member cities.
• Provide world‑class research, technical expertise and access to key partners to help cities design and implement new initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange between mayors, city officials and technical experts.
• Communicate individual city achievements and collective leadership to external audiences.
• Support the implementation of climate‑resilience projects under the fixed‑term contract.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience working on climate, environmental or urban resilience projects, preferably with city governments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to policy development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, international team.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of work.
