Business Intelligence Developer (Junior-Mid) – Hybrid

About the role

This position is designed for an early‑career Business Intelligence professional who wants to deepen technical expertise while working in a hybrid environment. You will join a stable team that values skill depth over title and offers learning opportunities on Azure and Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business specialists to gather and clarify project requirements.
• Perform data analysis to support report development.
• Create and automate standardized reports using SQL and Power BI.
• Write relational and complex SQL queries that meet specification needs.
• Validate reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Produce guidelines and documentation to help end users run and maintain reports.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Power BI (data pipelines, data flows, modeling, DAX, security, visualisation).
• Minimum 1 year experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong SQL skills, from simple to complex queries.
• Experience handling JSON data sources and parsing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Database, Synapse).
• Familiarity with data modelling, schema design and database optimisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexible schedule availability.
