Business Intelligence Analyst – Mid Level

About the role

Join the Actuarial Operations Team at Arch to expand reporting capabilities for actuarial models. You will partner with actuaries to design, build, and enhance business intelligence solutions that drive insight and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with actuarial teams to design and deliver actionable reporting solutions.
• Develop and enhance Power BI reports and Microsoft Power Platform visualisations, maintaining semantic models.
• Build, configure, and maintain automated testing workflows in cloud environments.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for reporting using Git‑based workflows.
• Validate report outputs with QA teams and produce clear documentation for internal use and UAT.
• Partner with data engineering to improve data models and reporting architecture.
• Ensure reporting standards align with governance and compliance requirements in partnership with IT.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience developing reports in Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience building dashboards with visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
• Experience supporting analytics or actuarial functions, preferably in insurance.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and independent troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and exploring emerging BI technologies.
