Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will identify profitable opportunities, secure strategic deals, and support the execution of sales strategies to boost company revenue. The role focuses on understanding client needs, building strong relationships, and driving both short‑term and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, research, pitching, negotiation, closing, and nurturing.
• Identify, analyze, and close new business opportunities while delivering compelling presentations and demos.
• Develop value propositions and tailor proposals to client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and proper documentation.
• Maintain long‑term client and partner relationships, monitor competitor activity, and execute account growth plans.
• Prepare regular business reviews, reports, and volume growth analyses.
• Assist with billing preparation, payment collection, and budget tracking.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend competitive strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or account management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in English and Filipino.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer solutions and revenue targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
