Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive client acquisition, onboarding, and after‑sales support for a credit‑bureau focused organization in the Philippines. You will act as the primary liaison between prospective clients—such as banks and lending companies—and internal product, data, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals, and participate in key meetings to acquire new clients.
• Lead the client onboarding process, ensuring all documentation and technical requirements are collected and satisfied.
• Provide after‑sales support, serving as the main point of contact during project implementation and beyond.
• Coordinate with finance to manage billing, payment tracking, and overdue invoices.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform client targeting and partnership strategies.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to enhance product knowledge.
• Contribute to internal policy and process development to support business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of business development experience, preferably in credit bureau, financial services, or lending in the Philippines.
• Strong understanding of the local lending landscape.
• Experience in start‑up environments, credit bureaus, or credit risk management is a plus.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Self‑starter capable of thriving in a dynamic, early‑stage setting.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage BD activities and administrative tasks.
