Business Control Analyst

About the role

The Business Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring and improving the company's financial and operational performance. Working closely with finance, operations, sales and management, the role supports strategic decision‑making, profitability improvement and efficient business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and update budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Analyze financial and operational results and track key performance indicators.
• Identify performance trends, cost‑saving opportunities and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support management in business planning and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business control, financial analysis, budgeting, or related finance roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, paper, FMCG or industrial environments is preferred.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and provide data‑driven insights.
