Business Continuity Analyst III

About the role

The Business Continuity Analyst III works independently within established procedures to lead the most complex business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives. You will drive improvements to resiliency practices, coordinate major projects, and act as the primary support lead for continuity and recovery readiness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain BCM documentation in line with ISO 22301 and internal compliance requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for BCM groups, tracking remediation and ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Support employee safety activities, incident management, and communication during emergencies.
• Coordinate with Emergency Response Team points of contact to align safety and security protocols.
• Design, facilitate, and track outcomes of BCM exercises such as tabletop drills.
• Develop and enhance BCM tools for risk tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Manage the BCP lifecycle across assigned business units, identifying gaps and supporting workload‑shifting strategies.
• Assist with risk assessments, Business Impact Analyses, and plan reviews, providing actionable recommendations.
• Build strong partnerships with IT, Information Security, Facilities, HR, and Operations, delivering awareness sessions and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, Operational Resilience, or a related field.
• Proven experience facilitating Business Impact Analyses and continuity planning workshops.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise Business Continuity Plans.
• Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks and industry standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ISO 22301 standards.
• Experience with BCM documentation tools and templates.
• Ability to design and run BCM exercises and tabletop simulations.
• Analytical skills for risk assessments, BIAs, and gap analysis.
