Business Analyst - Statutory and Regulatory Reporting (COREP)

About the role

ING Hubs Philippines is looking for a Business Analyst for the Tribe responsible for statutory and regulatory reporting under COREP. The Tribe delivers timely, transparent and standardized solutions that meet the standards of external local and central regulators and auditors. The Business Analyst reports to the Product Lead and works in a squad of around eight colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex finance business issues beyond the Squad or Tribe and deliver complete solutions for requested changes
• Elicit complete, consistent and well-written requirements, translate them into design and support the backlog by turning epics into user stories
• Analyze current processes, problems and root causes, and produce clear process designs
• Analyze data inputs, outputs and quality, and propose ways to improve data quality
• Translate operational risk, compliance and legal policies into solution designs
• Present functional and solution design alternatives and their impact to stakeholders
• Work with architects and specialists to define IT solution requirements
• Support agile delivery by refining roadmaps, releases and MVPs, and set up acceptance criteria, scenarios and use cases
• Help turn solution design into training material and work instructions, share lessons learned and best practices, and reuse solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in (business) administration or comparable
• Knowledge of and experience with business analysis, and cross-domain knowledge
• Working knowledge of business and IT in areas such as process management and financial services
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary squad and to build consensus among stakeholders
