Bellman – Guest Services

About the role

The Bellman is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This role involves handling luggage, delivering parcels, and offering information about hotel services and local attractions while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile at the hotel entrance and lobby, acknowledging arrivals and departures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering luggage, parcels, and messages to guest rooms.
• Maintain the bell area, lobby, and surrounding spaces in clean and orderly condition.
• Provide guests with information on hotel amenities, events, and local attractions.
• Upsell additional services such as laundry, spa, transportation, and restaurant options.
• Record all transactions in the log book, including guest name, room number, and timestamps.
• Conduct room drops and moves, ensuring luggage reaches rooms before guest arrival.
• Maintain bell carts, hand trolleys, and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with parking and vehicle retrieval when required, holding a valid driver’s license.
• Participate in daily briefings and departmental meetings.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to operate hotel vehicles.
