Back-End Engineer – Cagayan de Oro

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a skilled Back-End Engineer to join its Cagayan de Oro team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance server‑side services that power our clients' digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain server‑side logic, database schemas, and system integrations.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring to ensure production stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience using Java, C#, Node.js, Python or Go.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
