Australian Tax Accountant (Remote – Philippines)

About the role

As an AU Tax Accountant you will deliver high‑quality Australian accounting and tax services, handling financial reporting, compliance and advisory tasks for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements across multiple entity structures and ensure audit readiness.
• Process journals into client accounting systems and compile supporting workpapers.
• Prepare and review Australian income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Compile Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with Australian GST and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters and provide advisory support.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of Australian tax experience.
• At least 3 years in Australian public practice accounting.
• Exposure to SME and mid‑market clients with turnover of AUD 5 M–100 M+.
• Strong analytical, research and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Australian taxation knowledge.
• GST compliance expertise.
• Australian financial reporting standards.
• Preparation of tax workpapers, income tax returns and BAS.
