Associate Frontend Engineer

About the role

As an Associate Frontend Engineer you will help translate complex organisational data into clean, functional web interfaces used by consultants and senior executives. The position is fully remote, permanent and supports a Southeast Asian infrastructure client’s internal reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI components using modern JavaScript libraries.
• Convert mockups and design specifications into responsive web pages.
• Ensure data‑heavy dashboards remain legible for non‑technical users.
• Collaborate with consulting teams to understand client workflows.
• Write clean, documented code that follows team standards.
• Test interfaces across browsers for consistent behaviour.
• Assist in integrating frontend components with existing data services.
• Monitor site performance and optimise page load times.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript.
• Some exposure to a frontend library such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Interest in building tools that solve practical organisational problems.
• Degree or background in computer science, IT or a related field.
• Disciplined approach to writing readable and maintainable code.
