Assistant Team Leader – Property Management (Remote)

About the role

OptimalBooks is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to oversee a group of Assistant Property Managers. In this remote position you will ensure high‑quality work, support team development, and act as a liaison with senior management and U.S. clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assistant property management team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Review end‑of‑shift reports to monitor productivity, workload, and coordination.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development initiatives.
• Collaborate with U.S. clients to review deliverables, set priorities, and identify support opportunities.
• Assist clients with system improvements and implementation of new tools or software features.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance and productivity reports.
• Update SOPs, templates, and training materials to improve internal processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and risk controls.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in property management or real estate.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to rally a team around common goals.

Required skills

• Experience with property management platforms such as AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, or Rent Manager.
