Area Sales Manager – Foodservice

About the role

The Foodservice Area Sales Manager leads growth and development of the foodservice channel across Greater Manila and Luzon. You will create and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s presence in hotels, QSRs, fine‑dining restaurants, buffets, cafés, and government institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own volume and revenue targets for the foodservice channel in Greater Manila Area.
• Monitor performance, set KPIs, and produce regular growth reports.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term strategies to increase footprint in North and South Luzon.
• Identify new opportunities in traditional and non‑traditional accounts, including government institutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, GMs, head chefs, and procurement heads; lead ideation workshops and joint‑business planning.
• Drive upselling, cross‑selling, and tailored service offerings to existing customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotional campaigns and with Product Development on menu‑specific applications and new product concepts.
• Design pricing programs that improve market penetration while protecting margins.
• Analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to spot opportunities and threats.
• Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, including the Foodservice Consultant.
• Represent the company at industry associations, trade shows, and government procurement forums.
• Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Culinary, Business Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, key‑account management or business development experience in food, hospitality or related industries.
• Proven experience leading a sales team and handling major foodservice accounts.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and the ability to represent the company with confidence and integrity.
