APAC Taxation Specialist

About the role
Genesys is looking for an APAC Taxation Specialist to join its Global Tax team. The role will support tax compliance across multiple Asia‑Pacific jurisdictions, working remotely from Manila and collaborating with internal finance teams and external advisors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate direct and indirect tax filings (corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT, local business taxes) for APAC entities.
- Develop tax computations, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Monitor filing calendars and ensure timely submissions and tax payments.
- Maintain compliance documentation and respond to tax inquiries and audits.
- Stay informed on international and local tax law developments to ensure compliance and optimization.
- Liaise with internal finance and accounting teams and external tax advisors to gather information and resolve issues.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across time zones.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
