Analyst, Live Service, Market Operations

About the role

The Analyst, Live Service is responsible for pre- and post-trade operational support within the Live Service Market Operations team, part of the Market Supervision department at LSEG. The role reports to the Manager, Live Service and is a high-risk, market-impacting front-line position integral to the daily running of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Turquoise markets. Desk coverage is 6:00 am to 2:00 am Manila time, split across three shifts, with some weekend and bank holiday coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Support extended-hours trading operations and incident management, resolving live service and post-trade issues under the LSE 24/5 model
• Carry out market recovery actions for LSE and Turquoise markets, including alternative site recovery, late market and manual market start-ups, halting and resuming trading schedules and instruments, and partition recovery
• Provide real-time support for market activities across LSE and Turquoise Equities Markets
• Review risk indicators and track remediation actions for pre- and post-trade control gaps
• Maintain real-time static and dynamic instrument and reference data
• Act as first-line operational support for clients on queries, issues and disputes
• Work with Project Managers, IT and Sales/Trading on systems enhancements and development, and assist with exceptional technical and production incidents
• Investigate process failures, implement corrective actions, and take part in process improvement and regulatory change projects

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting financial clients, with proven customer service skills
• Experience in professional, client-focused environments following detailed processes and procedures
• Confident team player with good interpersonal skills and a proactive, deadline-driven approach
