AML Operations Analyst – Crypto Trading Platform (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented AML Operations Analyst to join our crypto compliance team. The analyst will serve as the first line of defence, reviewing transaction monitoring, KYT alerts and sanctions hits for a stablecoin trading and payment platform. The role operates on a 24/7 rotational schedule to protect real‑time exchange, on/off‑ramp and OTC services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Level 1 triage of automated transaction monitoring and KYT alerts.
• Screen and clear or escalate potential sanctions hits, PEP matches and adverse media alerts.
• Maintain continuous compliance coverage across night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Analyze fiat‑to‑crypto and crypto‑to‑crypto transactions for suspicious patterns.
• Investigate high‑value OTC deals to verify source of wealth and legitimacy.
• Document findings and escalate complex cases to senior analysts.
• Ensure smooth handovers between shifts to avoid missed alerts.

Required profile

• Willingness to work rotational night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• 1‑3 years experience in AML operations, blockchain analytics or financial‑crime compliance.
• Strong analytical ability to detect financial‑crime patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clear documentation.
• Basic understanding of blockchain, crypto wallets and transaction structures.
