About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist to support our financial operations remotely. The role involves managing billing, collections, and maintaining accurate records.
Key responsibilities
- Issue invoices to customers and follow up on overdue payments.
- Post transactions to QuickBooks from invoices, cash receipts and supplier documents.
- Record cash receipts and disbursements accurately.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and periodic account reconciliations.
- Provide requested financial information to external accountants.
- Maintain an orderly filing system and keep the chart of accounts up to date.
- Offer clerical and administrative support to management as needed.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions.
- No specific educational requirement, though a degree or certification in accounting is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
