Accounting Manager (Player‑Coach)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Bookkeeping Division and work side‑by‑side with the Division Manager. This player‑coach position combines hands‑on bookkeeping with team leadership, ensuring high‑quality service for multiple client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Division Manager to oversee daily operations of the bookkeeping team.
• Provide real‑time guidance and mentorship to bookkeepers facing complex accounting issues.
• Manage a personal portfolio of client accounts across various industries, delivering accurate bookkeeping and timely financial reports.
• Review team members’ work for accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Support workflow planning, capacity management, and client deadline adherence.

Required profile

• Experienced bookkeeper or accountant ready to assume leadership responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction.
• Ability to mentor by example and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
