Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the Accounting Department of a fast‑growing automotive brand in the Philippines. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month‑end and year‑end closes, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, inventory, and expense posting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and monthly/annual closing reports.
• Post cost of sales, depreciation, and adjusting entries as needed.
• Approve cash disbursements, petty‑cash replenishments, and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage, coach, and evaluate accounting staff and supervisors.
• Maintain fixed‑asset inventory and ensure ISO compliance.
• Develop and implement process improvements and internal control policies.
• Support the VP Finance with ad‑hoc tasks and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5‑10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
