Accounting Manager – Crypto Finance

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting function. You will shape accounting processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage tax compliance for a fast‑growing digital‑currency business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve the accounting management system, aligning digital‑currency trading and payment settlement with IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Optimize accounting workflows, supervise voucher preparation, bookkeeping, reconciliation and ensure timely, standardized daily accounting operations.
• Coordinate with the IT team to enhance the financial accounting system, increase automation and maintain system stability.
• Oversee daily financial accounting, including digital‑currency transaction treatment, fund settlement, user asset management, operating income, expenses and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements that meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct financial analysis, identify risks and propose optimization measures.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and explanations.
• Develop tax management plans, ensure compliance with corporate income tax, VAT and digital‑asset‑related taxes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting management for complex financial products.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and local Philippine GAAP.
• Familiarity with accounting for digital‑currency transactions and payment settlements.
• Understanding of global tax policies, including corporate income tax and VAT.
• Ability to work closely with IT teams to automate accounting processes.
