About the role

Join a newly established Pioneer team at a global professional services firm, working remotely with a hybrid setup in Makati. You will apply your Australian public practice background to sophisticated accounting and taxation projects for SME and mid‑market clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian income tax returns and technical tax advisory reports.
• Conduct tax research and advise on Australian taxation, GST, and complex tax matters.
• Support business structuring initiatives, cross‑border transactions and indirect tax advisory projects.
• Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements and IPO‑related tax matters.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on reviews, audits and dispute resolution.
• Apply legislative updates and taxation changes to client engagements.
• Maintain client records, financial information and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Exposure to SME and mid‑market clients with turnover of AUD 5 M–100 M+.
• Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers and income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
