About the role
The Staff Accountant supports the monthly accounting close and consolidation process for Regal Rexnord's segment finance team, working closely with Controllership, Treasury, Legal, and HR.
Key responsibilities
- Support monthly close and consolidation, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals, debt, allocations, insurance, and equity.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Drive process improvements and reduce cycle time using technology and SOPs.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and corporate policies.
- Provide SEC reporting support and coordinate with external auditors for quarterly and annual audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with consolidation in a large multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Manufacturing or public company experience is a plus.
Required skills
- Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
- Hyperion and/or OneStream.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
