Access Specialist

About the role

The Access Specialist will help ensure Roche’s diagnostic innovations reach patients across the Philippines. Working at the intersection of strategic healthcare system shaping and access execution, you will support the development and implementation of access plans that align with business objectives and national health priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive access plans for short‑term and mid‑term business goals.
• Analyse local and national healthcare systems to identify trends and shape environments for innovative solutions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Sales, Services, Marketing, Legal and Compliance to execute access initiatives.
• Coordinate with APAC and Global Policy teams to align local strategies with international best practices.
• Manage projects such as the Centralized Lab Model for HPV screening and multi‑disease testing initiatives.
• Navigate government bidding processes, health economics and reimbursement landscapes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to influence policy and expand diagnostic reach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Economics, Public Health or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in access, healthcare system shaping, sales or research within the healthcare industry.
• Understanding of the Philippine healthcare system, including regulatory and reimbursement pathways.
• Experience with project management and national programme roll‑outs.
• Strong analytical, result‑oriented mindset with ability to work independently.
