A2R DPS Senior Analyst - Legal Entity Accounting

About the role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting an A2R DPS Senior Analyst in Taguig, Metro Manila, as part of the Global Services Finance team's Legal Entity Accounting process. The team ensures the completeness and accuracy of US and Local GAAP and tax reporting, working closely with the Country Tax Centers (CTC). The role sits in the Accounting sub-function of the Finance category.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities for the country in scope
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports related to tax, in line with Compliance, Internal Audit and SOX requirements
• Support auditors and legal authorities with local statutory audit and reporting, and coordinate with the CTC on tax audit requirements
• Prepare monthly tax reports for the Philippines and coordinate with the CTC
• Handle ad hoc one-off requests and take part in projects as needed
• Drive continuous improvement, support automation initiatives and improve process efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or accountancy
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
• Experience in local statutory audit and reporting
• Fluent English; other languages desirable
• Open to flexible shifts to align with global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)
• Up to 10-20% international travel expected

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel and basic SAP ERP knowledge
• Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications
• Preferred: experience in a shared service centre or global account-to-report function, and in preparing Philippine tax reports (EWT, FWT, WVAT)
• Preferred: solid US GAAP accounting knowledge and digital/intelligent automation capabilities
