Skilled Rigger – Heavy Equipment Lifting

About the role

We are seeking a safety‑conscious Rigger to join our team in Davao. The successful candidate will handle the lifting, transferring, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials using cranes and rigging gear.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and secure loads for lifting operations.
• Select, inspect, and maintain rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains, and hooks.
• Attach loads to cranes, ensuring proper balance and stability.
• Assist and signal crane operators during lifting activities.
• Follow standard lifting procedures and safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct pre‑use inspection of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members on lifting plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid TESDA NC II – Rigging Certificate.
• 1–2 years experience as a rigger in construction, shipyard, oil & gas, or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of load calculation and proper lifting techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
