Project Manager

About the role

AlternativePower Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Project Manager to lead electro‑technical projects at its San Pedro location. You will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects on time, within scope and budget while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, resources and vendors to keep projects on track.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or issues and implement mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to align project deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports and risk registers.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Enforce safety standards, quality requirements and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience managing technical or electro‑technical projects, preferably in power, electrical or energy sectors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Relevant project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in San Pedro and support field activities as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation software).
