Production Scheduler – Manage Production & Installation Workflow

About the role

The Production Scheduler ensures that customer orders are reviewed, verified and placed into an efficient production and installation workflow. The role balances ship dates with available capacity, communicates with sales teams and maintains accurate scheduling data in web‑based systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily order queue, confirm completeness and accuracy of order information.
• Assign ship dates based on production capacity, installation requirements and established guidelines.
• Monitor the production calendar to detect unusually high or low workload days and adjust orders to maintain a balanced schedule.
• Respond to scheduling inquiries from sales, clearly communicating changes, conflicts or missing information.
• Maintain up‑to‑date order and scheduling records in web‑based applications.
• Perform basic calculations and use analytical judgment to make scheduling decisions.
• Escalate complex or unresolved scheduling issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations, manufacturing, production scheduling, supply chain, logistics or order management.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot missing or inconsistent data.
• Good basic math, numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a queue of orders and tasks.
• Comfortable working with web‑based applications and learning new systems.

Required skills
