Programme Officer I-N for Albay Area Development

About the role

The Programme Officer I-N will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of community‑based initiatives in the Albay Area, promoting environmental resilience, sustainable livelihoods and inclusive development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit contextualised annual implementation plans aligned with the Area Program.
• Coordinate and monitor technical programmes against targets, timelines, quality and budget.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, BCPCs, CBOs, churches, private sector and other stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and timely implementation of sponsorship for an assigned caseload of 1,000–1,500 RCs.
• Prepare and submit monthly, semi‑annual and annual programme reports using prescribed tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development or related social sciences.
• At least 2 years of experience in programme/project implementation for an NGO.
• Experience working with local government units, churches and other organisations.
• Strong understanding of child rights and responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and use of technology for programme management.
• Excellent communication, networking and facilitation abilities.
• Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.
