Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Team Leader is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Taguig, responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations on guest floors and public areas. The role involves assigning tasks, inspecting rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with hotel standards and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to room attendants and monitor their execution.
• Inspect guest rooms and common areas to verify cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with Laundry and Front Office teams to meet room readiness targets.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Train, coach and support housekeeping staff.
• Handle guest concerns related to cleanliness or room setup.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of housekeeping procedures and service quality.

Required profile

• Strong team leadership skills with experience motivating and coaching housekeeping teams.
• Hands‑on housekeeping expertise, including room cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of laundry operations, including sorting and care of hotel linens.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks and maintain standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Preferred experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related training is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
