Corporate And Institutional Business Development Officer

About the role

The Corporate and Institutional Business Development Officer will drive growth by acquiring new corporate and institutional clients for Borderline Travel and Tours. This full‑time, on‑site position works across Davao, Cebu and Metro Manila, promoting tailored travel solutions to organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new corporate and institutional accounts.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to customise travel packages and ensure service quality.
• Monitor market trends, analyse business performance and report on sales activities and pipeline status.
• Collaborate with operations and customer‑service teams to maintain high client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development and sales experience, preferably in travel, hospitality or corporate account management.
• Advanced analytical skills and basic finance knowledge for evaluating proposals, pricing and margins.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities across organisational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism Management, Finance or related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Metro Manila, manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (advantageous).
