Remote Accountant – Retail & E‑commerce (QuickBooks)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to support a fast‑growing multi‑location retail business with both brick‑and‑mortar stores and an e‑commerce channel. This full‑time, remote position is based in the Philippines and works closely with the Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Code and enter vendor invoices, process payments, and maintain organized vendor records.
• Reconcile the AP sub‑ledger to the general ledger and keep payables current.
• Post daily sales from store locations and e‑commerce platforms, reconcile POS totals, and manage deferred revenue schedules.
• Perform regular bank and credit‑card reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and prepare audit‑ready workpapers.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns, maintain filing calendars, and ensure timely tax submissions.
• Support payroll processing, fixed‑asset tracking, expense coding, and other general accounting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and able to get tasks done without repeated prompts.
• Comfortable working with clean numbers and consistent processes.
• Reliable, sharp, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
