Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role
The Duty Manager will oversee daily front‑desk operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience at Edsa Shangri‑La Manila, a five‑star city‑resort hotel in Ortigas Center. You will act as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during your shift, maintaining high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance overall guest experience throughout their stay.
- Supervise, coach, and direct the front‑desk team.
- Keep all colleagues informed about hotel products, services, and promotions.
- Monitor arrivals and departures from a guest‑experience perspective.
Required profile
- Pride in being a hotelier and a self‑starter.
- Friendly, helpful, trustworthy leader with strong interpersonal skills.
- Full understanding of room and front‑desk operations.
- Fluent written and spoken English and the local language.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Hospitality or hotel‑management education background is a plus.
