About the role
The Business Development and Alliance Manager will drive Menarini’s growth by identifying, assessing, and implementing new business opportunities. This strategic position leads the New Products Planning process and oversees alliance management to ensure alignment between internal teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct extensive field and desk research to uncover and validate new business opportunities.
- Develop commercial analysis tools and business models that support growth and profitability objectives.
- Prepare and present sophisticated business cases and proposals for senior management approval.
- Perform in‑depth P&L analysis across various financial models and coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Manage new product assessment, business case preparation, launch turnover, and implementation with commercial units.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of legal partnership frameworks, schedule routine meetings with partners, and identify new opportunities within existing alliances.
- Ensure completion of primary market research requirements such as brand trackers and qualitative studies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Business or Management; MBA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of new product planning, launch implementation, and alliance management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, influencing and presentation abilities.
- Experience in business intelligence, market research, and brand management.
