Accounts Payable Accountant – APAC Invoice Management

About the role

Western Digital is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to support its APAC entities. You will handle invoice processing, account reconciliation, and data analysis while reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely for assigned APAC entities.
• Verify, investigate, and resolve invoice discrepancies and hold items.
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder inquiries and work cross‑functionally to clear payment issues.
• Review and reconcile supplier statements against company records.
• Prepare month‑end balance‑sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ongoing finance projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit/SOX requirements.
• Perform ad‑hoc finance activities as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an Accounts Payable function.
• Experience in a Global Business Services or Shared Services environment is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically Oracle Cloud or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of invoice management processes and accounting principles.
