Cost Accounting Assistant – Inventory & Cost Tracking

About the role

The Finance Accounting team is looking for a Cost Accounting Assistant to support accurate cost tracking, inventory monitoring, and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with various business units to ensure cost efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and provide reliable data for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record inventory movements.
• Conduct month‑end physical inventory counts and reconcile variances with system records.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements related to cost accounting and inventory management.
• Perform additional finance and accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, or a fresh graduate with a strong academic record.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented.
