About the role
The Telephonic Client Manager will oversee a portfolio of accounts within a designated territory, driving upsell and retention goals through proactive outreach and strategic sales campaigns. This role focuses on generating new business revenue, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with field sales teams to maximize deal potential.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute call‑cycle plans and sales campaigns to boost channel performance.
- Meet telesales targets such as call rates, conversion rates, lead qualification, data management and revenue goals.
- Drive prospecting and retention initiatives, qualifying new sales leads.
- Enrich the customer database and maintain accurate contact information.
- Acquire new customers and generate revenue by hunting whitespace and running strategic campaigns.
- Identify and develop qualified sales opportunities using the prescribed sales methodology.
- Collaborate with field sales staff on large opportunities to maximize deal potential.
- Generate leads, appointments and product demonstrations for the field sales team when required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of college education completed.
- 2‑3 years of proven sales experience in a high‑volume or B2B inside‑sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level presentations.
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Customer‑focused mindset.
- Willingness to work a fixed night shift.
- Quick learner of enterprise AI tools and technologies to support workflows.
