Technician – Assembly & Installation

About the role

RTX’s Collins Aerospace division is seeking a motivated Technician to support routine assembly and installation activities at our First Philippine Industrial Park facility. The role focuses on preparing components, following detailed work instructions, and contributing to on‑time product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly, handling multiple skill levels for various activities.
• Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components according to blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or established shop practices.
• Utilize hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet daily and monthly production targets.
• Adhere to all EH&S practices, reporting hazards and recommending safety improvements.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives (CI, Kaizen, 5S) as assigned.

Required profile

• Senior high school graduate; fresh graduates are welcome.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training is an advantage.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Team‑oriented with initiative and a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Soldering iron operation
• Wire stripping and crimping
• Use of wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
• Blueprint and wire‑list interpretation
• Familiarity with CI, Kaizen, and 5S manufacturing techniques
