Tax Specialist (VAT Compliance)

About the role

The Tax Specialist will ensure full compliance with tax laws and regulations, focusing on Value Added Tax (VAT) and its components. The role involves preparing audit‑ready reports, reconciliations, and documentation while staying current on legislative changes that affect company assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all tax laws, especially VAT regulations.
• Prepare and reconcile reports and documents required for tax audits.
• Monitor updates to tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field, preferably Accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of BIR rules and regulations.
• Experience handling tax audits.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP accounting system (a plus).
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Analytical thinking.
