Accounting Manager – Shared Services Operations

About the role

Reporting to the Accounting Department Head, the Accounting Manager will act as the Shared Services Operations Manager. The role oversees accounting projects, drives process optimisation, ensures SOX compliance and maintains quality standards for global shared‑services accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day shared‑services operations and support the Department Head.
• Lead accounting projects from initiation to post‑implementation, managing timelines, resources and stakeholder communication.
• Analyse existing processes, design improvements, and document future‑state workflows.
• Conduct systematic reviews of accounting processes, recommend tool utilisation and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop and monitor department scorecards, generate performance reports and address operational issues.
• Identify and remediate SOX control gaps, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 10 years of combined accounting and audit experience.
• Proven leadership experience in supervisory roles.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work onsite at Vertis North, Quezon City.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Oracle ERP in a Microsoft environment.
